A Toast to Toi: Matariki Breakfast Special Edition is a morning of collective reflection and future planning held alongside the exhibition Āwhiowhio. We invite you to breakfast with us, spend time with the artworks before joining a guided session focused on intention setting, creative mapping, and sharing ideas.
This edition is inspired by Ururangi, the star of the winds. Metaphorically, Ururangi represents the energy and momentum of our intentions—the currents we choose to harness and move through our lives with purpose in the year ahead.
Grounded in the spirit of Matariki as a time for renewal, this space allows creatives to consider where they have been, where they are going, and what they wish to cultivate in their practice. Through prompts and conversation, we will centre creativity as both a personal practice and a shared journey.
