Āwhiowhio is an exhibition that views creativity as a force of movement, transformation, and renewal. Like a swirling wind that gathers ideas and clears new paths, this collection explores art as an elemental energy—one expressed through the physical rhythm of the etched mark and the pressure of imprinting.
Āwhiowhio reveals the creative journey of a series of community workshops where participants explore drypoint etching and various printmaking techniques. The resulting works form the exhibition itself, serving as a visual trace of shared experimentation and intent.
