About The Event
Join Waipū Hauora in celebrating ‘Matariki Hunga Nui - Matariki, the gatherer of people’. It is during the Matariki festivities, that people gather together to celebrate the passing of the year and the hope of a new season. This whakataukī speaks to us about the gathering of people during Matariki. Waipū Hauora have invited a number of the talented ringatoi from within our hapori to share with us some of their mahi in the spirit of Matariki Hunga Nui.
