About The Event
Te Kete ā Rohe is an opportunity to learn about the history, cultural richness and significant people, places and events across Tauranga Moana, from a tangata whenua perspective. Held over two days, it encompasses an interactive day in a classroom environment followed by a bus tour walking the land with mana whenua and visiting sites which are significant for Tauranga Moana iwi and hapū. Not only will it help to give you a greater understanding of who we are, and how we got here, but it will give you some insight into how we go forward together. Nau mai haere mai. Limited numbers.
