Tapa: The Story of Us

Matariki is a time to connect with the natural world. This event embraces natural resources and art forms from our whakapapa to tell stories. Te Moana nui a Kiwa has always connected us, as has the fibre from the Aute tree (Paper Mulberry). Learn about the tapa/aute, participate in the beating process and share your own story on a small tapa piece to take home.
