All That Glitters
This mahi traces the shimmering whakapapa between Waipuna-ā-rangi and our wai — the rain that falls, the awa that holds, the light that dances across both. I’m drawn to the iridescence shared by water and whetū — a glimmering kōrero of connection between sky and whenua.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kahurangiariki Smith is an artist and takatāpui pēpi keo living in Kirikiriroa along te awa o Waikato. Working in media such as karaoke, video games, moving image and 3D modelling, Kahurangiariki is interested in the intersection of technology with mātauranga Māori.
